
The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) and three other national stakeholder institutions to the Accountability, Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Programme (ARAP), received multimedia equipment on Friday, 16th October, 2020 at the ARAP office.

The three other stakeholder institutions that received from the EU-funded programme, implemented by the Spanish Public Foundation FIIAPP were the Office of the Attorney General, the Ghana Police Service (GPS) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The Team Leader, Ana Sanchez presented to EOCO two (2) laptops, two (2) Dock Stations, a printer and three (3) smartphones to support its communication unit.
The Office of the Attorney General also received 10 printers, 15 routers, 22 desktop computers and 22 Dock Stations for the Solicitor General and the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) department to support the digital register of criminal and civil cases.
The Ghana Police Service on the other hand received 20 desktop computers, 20 Dock stations, 13 printers and 2 routers to support the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) and the GPS Legal Unit Department. The equipment would support the Petition Management System (PMS) and the implementation of the digital evidence declassification process respectively.
Last but not the least, the Environmental Protection Agency received 2 Sound Level Meters to support its fight against noise pollution and complaints system.

Speaking at the brief presentation ceremony, Ana Sanchez said, “The donated devices will help to strengthen the work of the above-mentioned institutions in Ghana, and enable them to ensure the continuity of their activities”.
