

On Wednesday, 27th May, 2020, the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) arrested some officials of the Payboy Company Limited.
This was contained in a Press Release dated 29th May, 2020 and signed by the Head/Public Affairs, Jacqueline Avotri.
In a discussion with the Head/Public Affairs, Jacqueline Avotri on why the officials were arrested she indicated that the Payboy Company Limited which purports to be into Marketing and Promotion of Financial Technologies has not been licensed by the Bank of Ghana or the Securities and Exchange Commission to operate.
She also started that investigations are ongoing.
Jacqueline Avotri further advised the general public to be circumspect when dealing with companies or individuals, if it involves financial commitments.
