The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), on 22nd November 2018, introduced to its stakeholders a draft Client Service Charter aimed at making the Organisation friendly and open to the public.
In his opening address to the participants at a workshop held at the organisation’s premises, the Executive Director of EOCO, ACP K. K. Amoah (Rtd), noted that people see EOCO as an institution that is shrouded in secrecy and one which does not open up.
He indicated that the charter was in conformity with the mandate and the principles of the Office and would help provide the information on the services and expected standards to facilitate expedient transaction with our clients.
Field Desk Officer I Martha Oppong, stated in an overview that the Charter would serve as practical guide to both clients and other stakeholders on service delivery processes. She emphasized that EOCO’s services are free.
The Chief Director of the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General’s Office, Mr. Suleiman Ahmed, urged EOCO to review the charter periodically to enrich it.
