The Economic and Organised Crime Office has swept four (4) awards at the Annual Awards ceremony of the just ended Internal Audit Agency Conference held at the University of Professional Studies in Accra.
The Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency, Dr. E. O. Osae commended EOCO for the stellar work done following an Audit assessment in the 2023/2024 Auditing year. He further entreated the Office to keep up the good work.
The four award categories included:
- Best Audit Committee (Accountability Institutions)
- Best ERM Compliant Institutions (Accountability Institutions)
- Best Internal Audit Unit (Accountability Institutions)
- Best Head of Covered Entity (Accountability Institutions)
A hearty congratulations to our Executive Director, COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo- Danquah, the Audit Committee and Audit Unit of EOCO for the outstanding adherance to best Audit practices and for sweeping up the four (4) coveted awards.
Other awardees at the ceremony included the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), University of Cape Coast and Bui Power Authority.
