The Governing Board of the EOCO consists of:

1. A Chairperson;
2. The Executive Director,
3. One representative of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner;
4. One representative of the Narcotic Control Commission not below the rank of Director.
5. One representative of the Attorney-General’s Office not below the rank of Principal State Attorney.
6. One representative of the Ghana Revenue Authority not below the rank of Director.
7. One lawyer in  private practice with at least ten years experience nominated by the Ghana Bar Association;
8. A chartered accountant with at least ten years experience nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants; and
9. One person with intelligence background and not below the rank of Director nominated by the Minister responsible for National Security.
