On April 14 2024, officials from New Modern World Company Limited, paid a courtesy call on the Ag. Executive Director of EOCO. The courtesy call was to congratulate and commend the Ag. Executive Director for the good job he has done so far. Additionally, as part of their corporate social responsibility, ten (10) motor bikes were donated to complement EOCO’s effort in the fight against Economic and Organise Crime.

Speaking at the meeting, the Managing Director of New Modern World, Alhaji Usman Inusah, explained that his company’s support is intended to augment EOCO’S work especially given the mobile nature of their operations.

The Ag. Executive Director, Mr.  Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah was grateful for the donation, highlighting its practical relevance to the Office operations and its broader mandate. He also emphasized EOCO’s commitment to safeguarding investments by good corporate citizens including New Modern World Limited, who provides over 1000 direct and 3000 indirect jobs for Ghanaians, and pays tax to the state.

The gesture according to the Executive Director was a timely intervention and one that strengthens our shared responsibility to reduce Economic and Organised Crime, and to create an environment where lawful enterprises can thrive.

Present at the meeting were the Deputy Executive Director in charge of General Services, Madam Aba Jacqueline Opoku and the Technical Advisor to EOCO, Mr. Benjamin Ndego.

Officials of New Modern World Company Limited included Mr. Mohammed Mamudu, Mr. Dawud Usman and Major Adams Sadat.
